So much more than just a calendar!

Following consultation with the National Museum of Iceland, some suggestions were made to improve the product and I am excited to say that I am now in phase 2 of the continued development of the calendar. This includes the re-branding from Ye Ole Norse Calendar to The Old Norse Calendar.

The calendar is a wire-bound A4 that folds to A3 on the wall but you can also read the information in it whilst drinking your coffee - without needing 2 tables!

This is not your normal Gregorian calendar. This is the ancient Icelandic calendar for 2022 which has been integrated with the Gregorian calendar for easy understanding.

In this 2022 edition, all photographs were taken by Mal Dickson, a Scottish photographer who lives in Norway. Mal has spent many years in the living history of the Viking age and is a freeman in Njardarheimr, Gudvangen in Norway.

The 2022 edition continues to bring you important dates of celebrations and teaches you how to find your Viking birthday as well as teaching you how the Nordic people thought of time during the Viking and Saga era. It also goes extensively into documentations of how blots have been conducted in Iceland and now features a modern recipe of authentic Viking flatbread.
